*Someone just played the 'Summon Deference' card'*

Oh my goodness. If anything is going to loose my tongue upon JU from my self-imposed exile, this, (in corroboration with other recent 'articles' and comments by YOU) THIS is it.

Brad, perhaps you've had scruples with President Bush's policies, (like Doc. Guy with the NCLB act), but you, and he, and many others here have continued to use this site as an echo chamber for neo-con policy advanced by the current White House. Gotta' love that 'Religion of Peace' 'column of fear-mongering' propaganda you STILL push. Oohh, the Muslims are coming to get me. I'm so scared.

http://www.adherents.com/images/rel_pie.gif

We've got Muslims as the second greatest amount of adherents to a religion on this planet 2nd only to Christians ( supposedly including Jehovah's Witnessess, nd Mormons - sorry singrdave - you belong to a cult) and you would inflame the division between the two largest religions to a point Faux News can only dream of? Great job. Ve--ery cla-assy. Hey, start some shit up between the Jews and Muslims too, they aren't killing each other off fast enough. Hey, don't you claim to be agnostic? Very profitable for you. Particularly if you enter defense contracting.

What a joke.

My buddy Munib still visits JU just to laugh at the infidel he'll bomb soon. J/K, Munib is Sunni. He's not even pissed about that 6 months he had to spend in prison right after 9/11 because he was unfortunate enought to be bourne Pakistani, live in the states for nine years, and happen to be a male between the age of 18 and 32. Jailing for origin is un-american. But we've got to protect ourselves. Even though a man with a rare strain of Tuberculosis can find his way through our borders. Hey, if we're babysitting Ira , afghanistan, and 160 other countries via established military bases, the mainland is safe, right?

Munib laughed at this too....

Fact: You've much more of a chance of getting struck by lightning then you will of dying by a 'terrorist' attack. Let alone a Muslim terrorist attack. No shit. DUH.

In FaCT (I know some will be sad to hear of this) your chance of dying by VENDING MaCHINE IS 2X that of dying by 'terrorist' attack.

Follow the yellow brick link: http://www.mattbarr.com/archives/2006/09/your_chance_of.html

What a joke to critically minded readers who actually think and research for themselves.

Excuse me whilst I wretch.

C'mon Brad, where's your impassioned plea to JU denizens to beware of soda machines? The vending machines - they're KILLING americans.

Oh, that's right, they ain't Muslim soda machines are they?

What a tool.

Even Rush Limbaugh said he was sick of 'carrying water' for these guys ( the White House Propaganda Machine) yet, there you are.

and you support third party candidates?

*guffaw*

When was the last time you went door to door for a candidate? a long shot at that? Maybe you spent a few hours on your short circuited keyboard to send a plea to an idiot using cntrl+v to paste in every lower case 'a' to a site admin. to get the message across. Did you even preach to your blogging sheeple the virtues of a particular third party candidate for '08?

Brad, maybe you are a very reasoned individual, even a sincere one, but your comments of late have agitated me to the point of putting in to words the threshold begging for correction. Perhaps you find this entire response offensive, Brad, but I find what you have been saying incredibly offing, thus, tit for tat.

rant on brother, and yes some of US have went way overboard on the Muslim thing. I have been one of them, but after bakerstreet slapped me around for a few weeks I have stopped to reconsider my position.

BTW very good to see your name even If I do not really know the man behind the screen well at all.

No matter who you are you can consider me a fan for sure.

most respectfully,

rant on brother...speak that truth to power....at least till they kick ya off for a TOU violation that are ignored when someone is spewing the neocon creed or just brown-nosed enough to be included in the ju inner circle.

It's pretty sad when basically good people become so obscenely obsessed with their bias that someone like Deference can so easily show them to be off base. When the village idiot starts being more rational than your wise men, it's time to reassess job descriptions.

I really did not expect replies, nor did I expect to reply, but the showing of some JU crew warrants response.

Hi, Elie.

I'm very glad to hear you alive and kicking. I thought you were a for-sure goner awhile back. I've been very thankful for Bakerstreet's Muslim oriented posts, he provided some enlightenment to those who would otherwise be brow-beaten into accepting the idea all our Muslim neighbours need to be rounded up and subjected to prison camps like the Japanese in WWII era panic. Remember hearing of gas-rationing cards and victory gardens? It's coming again. as one man said,

"History does not repeat itself but often it ryhmes."

Yep, I ranted, sometimes I can't stand the pressure of stupidity and become very undisciplined in what I say. after all, the first priority of JU blogging is personal enjoyment - a priority I've never shirked from.

This man is much more enjoyed then the typed words he offers read from the screen. 'Net anonymity is a must, not that there really is any but some of us give token effort, sorry we've not gotten to know each other properly.

I've always recognied (sp - keyboard is mussed) that treatment at JU is always arbitrated by the hands holding the reigns. If a sysadmin wants to kick, that is their prerogative. It is always up to us to take persuasive action or move on.

Ron Paul was the only reason to watch the Republican Primary debates. Everyone else was on strings. Though I think 'the people' would elect him, (have you noticed the audience response and straw poll numbers?), stronger interests will make certain only the 'pre-approved' candidates will receive print and video exposure. Break open any local or national paper, watch any footage from the major networks - you'll see Dr. Ron marginalied (sp- keyboard issue). Keep the faith or get out of the country. I've chosen the latter.

LW - wish you'd said something, but thanks for making an appearance.

I don't begin to believe I've tightened down any screws on Mr. Wardell. I did just rant. as I often do at JU. .

as for being the village idiot, any time you want some serious debate you can come knocking at this 'idiot's' door - and I guarantee he'll give you a run for your money if he doesn't eat your lunch. Let's just agree on the resolution first.

I do owe an apology to you, you know what for. I apologie. (s to the fuckin' p - damn keyboard)

Good to talk to you all again, I try not to flap my gums at JU as it seems there is more hurt done then good, too much polarity...

I appreciate the attribution, but would like some clarification.  Other than agreeing with some of Bush Policies (and defending him when those who have no points only spew hatred of him), where have I been advancing his "neo-con" policies?  I support his policies when I agree with them, and criticize them when I dont.  But I dont have to sink into a hate filled diatribe of the man when I think a policy of his is stupid or insane.

I fail to see how throwing the baby out with the bathwater makes one a better person.

Most folks thought I was a goner too def, but my time was not up, I still have a huge cosmic debt to pay down, so I am glad to have another chance to keep on rolling.

For some reason I do not think Baker was calling you the village idiot, I just cannot see baker doing that to you, if he did it is REAL rude.

I think I will take you up on that email offer, the subject line will contain my name so you know it's me ok? Expect a short one real soon.

Believe me Elie, Baker's got some credit he's still working off.
